Haramacy was comprised of a residency programme and an evening of multi arts performance hosted at the Bush Theatre (Attic), West London. The title, Haramacy, is an amalgamation of the Arabic word ‘haram’, meaning indecent or forbidden, and the english word ‘pharmacy’.
As part of this residency, I worked with artists Jumanah Bawazir and Puer Deorum on a collaborative performance, multi-modal installation and soundscape titled:
The pixels
--pulsate like soft lips on shedding skin
Pendulums peacocks and partitions
Furrowed palms ache
And limp wrists rotate
If silhouettes were a colour; what would shadows taste like?
